Advertising the sale:

We will advertise the sale in one or two local newspapers, Craigslist, Estate Sale websites and flyers. We will also notify our mailing list by email and mail of scheduled estate sale and provide and post signs. Eventually we will offer a web page which includes a description of the estate contents, up to 50 pictures, the date, location, and time of the sale.

Sorting and Organizing Merchandise:

We will organize the sale so that related items are together in the same area. Items are merchandised in an effort to create sales and salespeople are stationed throughout for sales effort and for security. Occasionally and only with your permission, additional sale items will be added to your sale to attract more buyers and increase visual interest. What happens if my Mother or family has hidden money inside the house and it is found by the liquidator? Photos? Love letters? Personal papers?

We cannot answer for other liquidators but in our case, we simply set these things aside, along with anything else that seems too personal to sell without permission, and have the family come and retrieve it or we will mail it to you upon request.
